Simba

Simba

DSH - male

Oh I just can't wait to be King!

Thankfully there is such a thing as a bakers dozen so I've not been overlooked for special treatment yet again!

Simba is, like his namesake from The Lion King, a loveable, energetic and intelligent kitten. He adores cuddles with humans of all ages and sizes and is especially good with children as he loves attention and playing. He never scratches or bites, even when playing, and is incredibly gentle. You can watch this one play for hours

his favourite toys are scrunched up pieces of paper which he pounces on with extreme excitement. He's de-sexed, litter trained, free of fleas and in excellent health. He's been an indoors cat so far and will make an excellent lifelong companion. Can you give this king-in-waiting a throne to sit upon? If you would like to meet Simba, please contact us. How long has he been in care: 6 months and where did he come from? Simba came from Hawkesbury Pound when only 6 weeks old along with his mum and 5 siblings. He is the only kitten from the litter still waiting his turn to be adopted.

Sweetpea

Sweetpea

female

Sweetpea and her siblings were found in a rear shed after new owners bought the property. Because of her lack of human contact up until coming into care, Sweetpea can be cautious and nervous around new people. Once she knows you though, she is playful and affectionate. Sweetpea gets on with the other kittens and cats she shares with but is rather frightened of my dogs. Sweetpea is a good eater and litter trained. I believe Sweetpea would be an excellent feline addition in any household where there were no dogs.

Sweetpea was adopted on 18 June 2011 after 3 days in foster care

Kittyhawk

Kittyhawk

DSH - male

Kittyhawk is a playful, affectionate and funny little kitten who just loves life. He loves wrestling and chasing his siblings around and also enjoys playing with the cat toys around the place. Kittyhawk loves exploring and has discovered that my coffee table drawers can be accessed from underneath the table top. Viola! An instant hidey hole as well as a comfy bed for himself and his siblings. :) Kittyhawk is a good eater and is litter trained. If you're looking for a fun loving and affectionate little kitten then Kittyhawk is the kitten for you.

Waffles

Waffles

female

Waffles and her siblings were found living in a rear shed by a family when they bought the property. Waffles is a sweet little kitten in every way. She can be a bit wary of people when first meeting them but once you give her a cuddle she warms up straight away. Waffles gets along with the other cats and kittens here but is terrified of my dogs. Waffles is a good eater and is litter trained. If you're looking for a lovely little kitten who's playful and loving then Waffles is the kitten for you.

Waffles was adopted on 17 June 2011 after 4 days in foster care

Sebastian

Sebastian

DMH - male

Sebastian has only recently come into care and I can tell you, he is just divine. Sebastian is a quiet cat who is never demanding for anything. He loves being indoors lounging around and keeping you company but is equally happy being left to wile away his time, not doing much of anything really. As long as he's comfortable and warm, Sebastian is a happy cat. Sebastian is a good eater and is litter trained. Being a medium hair cat, he does require brushing from time to time but his coat is so beautifully soft that I find it something I enjoy doing, not a chore. Because Sebastian is such a gentle natured cat I believe he would fit into any household perfectly.

Sebastian was adopted on 17 June 2011 after 4 weeks in foster care

Blossom

Blossom

DSH - female

Quiet Girl Seeks Safe Haven

Blossom was born under a house and was passed to DCH when the residents became concerned about the neighbourhood dogs. This little fluff ball is wary of humans and needs time to adjust to new people and new surroundings. She does not like to be picked up and is incredibly shy. She will reward her new owner with lots of cuddles

but only at night. She will need a special person who will give her the attention she deserves and, with time, she will come out of her shell. Blossom is a very prettily marked kitten. Blossom has been in care for 6 months.

Blossom is a kitten that requires someone really special. If you think you are that person, please contact us.

Blossom was adopted on 14 June 2011 after 5 months in foster care

Savannah

Savannah

DSH - female

I'm the Perfect Cat: don't take my word for it ask my carer

This gorgeous looking girl was found wandering on a main road and was extremely lucky not to have been run over. Savannah has the most gorgeous personality her foster carer has ever seen in a cat. She is never a problem and gets along with everyone including cats and dogs. She is a real purrer. Savannah also likes to play chasings with big and small cats. She loves her food and comes running when she is called for dinner. She would be great in a home where there is a dog as long as it is tolerant as she likes to play with dogs. She would not be suitable if there is a chance that the dog might snap at her if it got fed up with being used as a play toy. A really lovely girl who loves time with people as well as other animals. She will often come up to you on the lounge meowing a greeting and sit next to you waiting for a scratch. This fantastic little girl is very easy going and gets along well with everyone. She is just a delight to have around and she enjoys the company of other animals. She would be most happy in a home where there is another cat to be with or someone who is home almost all the time. She would be more than happy to sit on your desk when you are working if you have an at home job.

If you think you can give this delightful, easy going girl a home, please contact us.

Savannah was adopted on 13 June 2011 after 1.3 years in foster care

Smidgeon

Smidgeon

DSH - female

Smidgeon was rescued from an animal shelter as a small and skinny kitten. She was a motherless stray. Healthwise, she had a very rough start to life and was quite ill. However, she is now fully recovered. She is a short haired black and white girl with intense amber coloured eyes. Smidgeon prefers to be indoors. She is affectionate, playful, sweet natured, intelligent and confident. She loves a good pat and will rub her head on your hand if you are not patting her when she wants you to. She enjoys adding a few mis-spelled words to your emails if you let her as she is a creative kind of girl. She gets on well with other cats and kittens and tends to be the 'alpha' kitten in the house but in a nice way. She is also taking care of a blind dog. Smidgeon comes when called at meal times and is a very clean girl who has never had an accident (even when she was sick). Smidgeon has been in care for almost 6 months.

If you can give this gorgeous budding author a permanent office where she can work, please contact us.
