Oreo

Oreo

DSH - male

Oreo is a black and white short-haired domestic male. He has an unusual sprinkling of white on the back of his 'tuxedo jacket' and faint white stripes down his black tail. He has pink toes and nose and would be better suited as an indoor cat in his forever home. He was rescued at the tender age of 3 weeks motherless from a shelter along with his sister TimTam. At the time he was a very thin, small and very sad looking kitten. It only became obvious the next morning that he was also very sick with the flu. It was touch and go for the next 4ish weeks but he proved to be tougher than he looked and recovered. Partially due to all the handling while being nursed back to health, he is a very affectionate boy who is willing to sit on your lap for hours purring (even falls asleep there sometimes). His favorite is to crawl into your jacket and fall asleep purring. He also is very playful and loves to beat up his sister whenever possible (and vica versa!)

Oreo was adopted on 25 August 2010 after 3 months in foster care

Penny

Penny

DSH - female

Penny is a gentle little girl who was found wandering around the train tracks at Kogarah. She was very scared of humans when she first came into care, but with lots of love, cuddles and a regular supply of food she has really become a nice little kitten. Daisy May loves to find a quiet spot to sit and watch what the other members of the household are doing. She will sit on your lap while you watch TV and purr the night away.

Penny is learning to play with toys and will chase string with a person she trusts. She also likes other cats, especially those older than her and has learnt how to use the litter tray and scratching post from watching the older foster cats in the household. Daisy May would be great for a quiet household as an 'only cat' or with an older cat for company. The person who is willing to show a little patience with her will be rewarded with a loyal feline friend.

Penny was adopted on 25 August 2010 after 3 months in foster care

They love to play and will wrestle for hours, chasing eachother around the house is one of their favourite things to do!
