Spike

Spike

Staffy x Mastiff x - male

Spike's breeding is the subject of much debate

whatever he is, he is gorgeous! He is a fairly calm dog who takes in what's going on around him in a considered way. He is great with kids and well sociable with other dogs. He needs some basic training but already leads well. He has one adorable habit

when he's excited, he sits and does a little dance with his front paws.

Spike was adopted on 15 October 2007 after 1 month in foster care

Roxy

Roxy

Shephard x Kelpie - female

Roxy was only surrendered because her owners were moving. She is an energetic and intelligent dog who is very keen to please. She has obviously had thorough obedience training before and knows all the basics. She is affectionate, well mannered with other dogs and loves kids. She would suit someone with a reasonably active lifestyle.

Sammy

Sammy

Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog x - male

Sammy is a wonderful excited little boy. He is so affectionate and would really love someone who will love him back just as much. He is in training and knows sit, lay down, stay and is toilet trained although ongoing training would be great for him. He would be good as a playmate for your existing dog or as an only dog. He walks very well on a lead and loves to run around very fast.

Sammy was adopted on 11 October 2007 after 1 month in foster care

Flick

Scruffy

Scruffy

Terrier x - male

Hi my name is Scruffy. Look into my little brown eyes and tell me I'm not cute! As soon as you see me you will notice my enthusiasm for life and my eagerness to make you love me, not to mention my crazy hair. I'm house trained and very well mannered when travelling in the car. I also have this funny little habit when I'm getting ready for bed where I scratch my blanket up into a big pile then turn a few circles and finally lay down. It's quite entertaining. I don't mind being bathed and groomed, actually I think I really just like all the attention. It doesn't do much to tame my crazy locks though! I enjoy going for walks and you'll enjoy coming with me because I'm really well behaved on the lead. I'm a little dog with a lot of love to give. If you think that I might be the dog for you then open your home and your heart for me. It could be the start of a beautiful relationship.

Scruffy was adopted on 05 October 2007 after 4 months in foster care

Sasha

Sasha

Cattle x Beagle - female

Sasha is a sweet faced Cattle x Beagle... Along with her brothers and sister we affectionately call them 'The Beatles'.. Her mother was a pure Beagle, Daddy was obviously a Cattle Dog.. She was taken into care with her brothers Izzy and Chumley and sister Blossom and is now being cared for in a foster home, with her brother Izzy. Sasha is a snuggly girl who is more than happy to cosy up on your lap for cuddles or play in the yard with the other fosters and our 3 resident cattle dogs. She is a strong little pup who shows the grit and determination of both the cattle and beagle when she wants something.. Sasha and her brother Izzy look like Beagles whose mum has bought them Cattle Dog costumes!!! More information on Sasha will be added as we get to know her more.
