Neo

Neo

Rotti x - male

Neo came into care as a very frightened pup, who was scared of just about everything and would run away and hide when anyone went into the yard. He has been in care with me now for the last 2 months now, and the change in him has been amazing. He is now more confident around people and other dogs and he has become the most loving dog. He will do just about anything just for a hug and a pat. Neo's previous owners took it upon themselves to dock his tail so short, that one more bone up and he would have been paralysed. All in all Neo is a great pup, and would make a excellent loving family dog, he still needs someone who will continue to be gentle and reassuring towards him. A family with older children would be perfect for him as the sound of young children screaming does still seem to scare him.

Neo was adopted on 27 December 2011 after 3 months in foster care

Spencer

Spencer

Terrier x Foxy - male

Spencer is a puppy who I find very hard to put down. He just loves being cuddled and will wag his tail and lick your nose in appreciation. Spencer loves being around his brother and sister and will spend most of his waking time wrestling and chasing them. He also gets along with the many kittens I have (although the kittens will probably tell you different) as well as my other dogs. Spencer is a great eater which he does with gusto. At this age he isn't toilet trained but is getting very good at going on the grass. Spencer is a funny, playful and very loving puppy who would make a wonderful addition to any household.

Spencer was adopted on 20 December 2011 after 6 days in foster care

Annie

Annie

Terrier x - female

Poor Annie found herself dumped at the pound by her owners when she was heavily pregnant. Scared and confused, she was taken into care where she delivered three healthy and beautiful puppies. Annie is proving to be a very doting and loving mother and is always on hand when they need her. Annie herself has made great progress since coming into care. Her fear has turned into confidence and she is now a trusting and friendly dog who enjoys playing with my children as well as the other dogs I have. She pays no attention to the cats unless they get a little bit too close to her babies. Annie is neither a barker or a yapper and doesn't jump up. She is a good eater and not at all fussy. She currently spends time both indoors and out, using the dog flap to come and go as she pleases. If you're looking for a quiet and sweet dog who will return your trust and love tenfold then please come and meet with Annie. Because Annie is still nursing she won't be available until the end of the month but if you would like to meet with her beforehand, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Annie was adopted on 18 December 2011 after 1 month in foster care

Robbie

Robbie

Tri Collie Rough - male

Robbie is the sweetest boy and although he is 11 he is still quiet active, has no problems getting up and loves to play with the other Collies. When they are playing he runs around them barking, egging them on. He is the kindest soul, not overly openly affectionate, you can tell that he has not had a lot of attention but this makes him a nice quiet easy going undemanding type of lad. He would suit a home where there was an older dog where the 2 of them can laze around together or a home as an only dog as long as he is allowed to be around you all when the family is home. He is an inside dog, house trained and sleeps on a mat all night long.

Robbie is located at Rydal near Lithgow and a property inspection is necessary before he can to placed in a home.

Robbie was adopted on 16 December 2011 after 1 month in foster care

Ralph

Ralph

Medium x Breed - male

This is Ralph. He's a real sweetie who loves cuddles and is full of energy. He loves to run around the yard, lie on his mat and chew his toys or sleep on his back. Ralph will be happiest in a home with a strong leader who can provide time for lots of walks and play time. He will require ongoing obedience training and socialisation to ensure he becomes a responsible adult dog, especially as he is likely to grow in to a medium to large dog. Ralph already knows how to sit, down and wait at the door. His toilet training is improving, though he still has plenty of work to do. He is good with our 2 other dogs (a pug and a bulldog) and while he was initially quite scared of the car he is getting better with every trip. Ralph is an inside/outside dog and we will only consider a home where he is welcome inside the house with the owner. In his current routine he is sleeping outside at night, spending his days outside and spending the evenings inside with the family. On weekends, the house is open and he is free to come and go as he pleases. Ralph is currently teething so he's very mouthy. He will need lots of chew toys to keep him busy and ongoing work on his bite inhibition as he grows out of this phase.

Ralph is in care at Warrimoo

Ralph was adopted on 13 December 2011 after 1 month in foster care

Maci

Maci

Terrier x - female

Miss Maci, she was on death row at the pound and due to be put down but was rescued by DCH. Maci is a very loving happy go lucky little girl who fits in as if she has always been here. She is super cute, quiet, well behaved, great with dogs and cats. I believe she would be the perfect fit to any family that had plenty of love to give

Maci was adopted on 11 December 2011 after 3 weeks in foster care

Boris

Boris

Lab x Staffy - male

Hi my name is Boris and I am 12 weeks old and I love to have a play, but I would much prefer to sit at your feet and join in on your conversation. I will follow you everywhere at your heels and I am always on for a good game with the kids. I dont mind them cats, I havent yet meet a dog who hasn't liked me and them cows and horses across the road, just don't bother me at all as I figured if I dont look at them then they wont look at me. I am not a digger or much of a chewer as I've been told not to do that and I am such a quick learner. I can sit, stay and I love all types of foods so I am easy to feed not a fussy eater at all. I'm banned from the bedroom as I snore so loudly and keep my foster parents awake. I'll ask to go outside when nature calls me. All in all I think I am just a nice well rounded little fellow and everyone that meets me agrees with me so do you think I could become apart of your Family?

Boris is located at Badgerys Creek

Jasper

Jasper

Labrador - male

Jasper was surrendered by his owner as she was unable to care for him so he is a bit confused at what was going on but he has settled down now and is proving to be a lovable, co-operative Lab. He loves a swim in the Pool and gets on very well with other dogs, puppies and cats. He is a large, strong boy with a gorgeous thick, golden coat. Jasper sits and shakes hands as well as waits for his food. He does however need some more training walking on lead. He needs someone who has the time to spend with him whom he knows he could trust and he will be a loyal companion in return

ideally a large yard/acreagae so that he has lots of room to exercise and play. Jasper travels well in the car and chases balls but loves to be inside from time to time to be near his owner. He interacts well with older children but may knock smaller children over due to his size. He deserves a loving, forever home after the sad life he has had especially being parted from his beloved 5 Pups and Partner so please have a good look at him and maybe you might know someone who could give Jasper that wonderful, caring life that he deserves. You are welcome to come and meet him to see if he could be the loving dog that you would want to enrich your life

he is in care at Riverstone.
