Paris

Paris

Fox Terrier - female

Paris is a very cute little pup, who loves playing with the 9 week old kitten we have at the moment, they are about the same size. She loves children and is more then happy to follow you everywhere you go..

Lulu

Lulu

Bull Arab x - female

Lulu is an adorable, social little girl who came into care as a very young pup and she shows all the signs of being a very good family pet. She has the cutest face and an easy to care for coat. Since coming into rescue and going onto a good regular diet she is thriving and she looks happy and healthy and she has the all clear from the vet. Despite her obvious lack of attention in the early weeks, Lulu has adjusted easily to being part of our family (with 3 kids under 8). She is currently a happy outside dog and would suit anyone who has time and attention to spare as she is still at the excitable pup stage and loves nothing more than someone to play with. We are guessing she will grow into a medium to large size dog as she was 4.7kg at 11 weeks. It has been suggested that Lulu may be a Bull Arab which is a x breed. If this is the case, the Bull Arab is a versatile breed that is renowned to have a great temperament as a family dog, generally these dogs have been bred selectively for non human aggression and are very laid back in the backyard. They are good natured around family and children, but also make good guard or working dogs. Lulu is being cared for at Cherrybrook, Sydney and would love to find her forever home.'

Georgia

Georgia

Chihuahua - female

Georgia is an extremely happy and fun loving girl who greets everyone with a smile. Georgia is toilet trained using a doggy door, travels well in the car, walks well on the lead and loves to play with her toys and is equally happy tearing around the yard with her foster brother and sisters. Georgia is very active and also very tiny, so would be best suited to a home with children over 8 years of age as she tends to stick very close to your legs when inside so for safety would not be suitable for elderly people. Although she is wary at first, she loves to play with other dogs so would make an excellent companion for another fun loving resident dog. Georgia loves cuddles and is a wonderful lap warmer and can always be found cuddling on the lounge once she is done with play. She sleeps in a crate at night but would need continued training if no doggy door was available.

Goldie

Goldie

Pomeranian x - male

Goldie is a very energetic and friendly little pup who loves following me wherever I go. He is very friendly, good on a lead and enjoys going on his walks everyday but he barks and growls at everyone he sees on his walks so he really needs to go to puppy/dog training where he can to be taught basic manners and how socialize with other dogs and people outside of his yard. Sometimes he responds when you call him but he needs more training. He would need to be an inside dog with his family when they are home as he just loves people and the attention he gets from them. You can't resist his big brown eyes when he looks at you and is a bit of a comic (especially when he dances around on his hind legs). He is not at all yappy, in fact he rarely barks when he is at home unless he desperately wants your attention or there is something interesting to bark at. He is very protective of strangers coming into the house or that he can see from his yard.

Kelsie and Sam

Kelsie and Sam

Shetland Sheepdogs - female

Kelsie and Sam are adorable, pure Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties); both are gorgeous looking, especially Sam who is stunning. Both are timid dogs, however Kelsie is willing to try to trust you and has become more confident in my company over the last month than Sam has. He is extremely shy and he sticks to Kelsie's side to only go where she does. If a stranger comes into the garden he shoots away giving himself a 10 metre escape route, whereas she may decide to come over for a sniff and a pat if she's feeling confident with me around. They came into foster care as a pair and they must be re-homed as a pair, as Sam is so reliant on Kelsie, he uses her as his little security blanket and it would be very damaging to his mental health to stress him out by separating him from her. He does like to go out for a walk and is quite spritely, whereas Kelsie dawdles along in no hurry what so ever. They don't bark, don't destroy anything, they are inside/outside, fully grown now and below knee height. They do require regular grooming to maintain the spectacular coat but it's really no issue for either. Both are easy to travel and placid at the vets. They have both been de-sexed, vaccinated, micro chipped and had all their worming done, so ready to look for their special home right now. Given their nature their ideal home will be where they are the only dogs, and to a family who can be kind and patient and not pressure them into contact where none is wanted. They must be inside/outside, preferably in a home with no children or much older teens who understand their need for space and security exit routes. To ensure the best possible happy ending for this wonderful pair a home inspection will be required prior to adoption.

Kelsie and Sam was adopted on 28 June 2011 after 2 months in foster care

Jasper

Jasper

Terrier x - male

Simply put, Jasper is the cutest, friendliest, most affectionate and fun loving pup I have ever fostered. He loves being with people no matter how old they are and is not at all bothered by other dogs or cats. Jasper loves his walks so he needs an owner who is willing to exercise him every day. And don't let his size fool you. He can walk for a solid hour without slowing up and will be ready to do it all over again. Jasper is a good eater and at the moment sleeps indoors. His lovely layered coat of black, white and grey will need a small amount of grooming to keep it looking its best. Because Jasper is such a happy natured dog I believe he would be a wonderful addition to any household as long as there was lots of cuddles and love on offer.

Sophie

Sophie

Pomeranian - female

Sophie is a gorgeous little dog who came into care after her previous owner sadly passed away. Sophie loves human company, whether young or old. She is also getting on with the other dogs here and pays no attention whatsoever to the cats/kittens. Sophie may be 8 years old but she still has enough energy to run and play with the other dogs here who are a quarter of her age. Having said that though, Sophie does enjoy relaxing and napping on the lounge in my sunroom just watching the world pass by. Sophie is a small eater and is house trained. I believe Sophie would be best suited to an older couple or in a household where the noise and energy levels were minimal.

Sophie was adopted on 12 June 2011 after today in foster care

Harper

Harper

Med-Large Cross Breed - female

Harper is such a sweetheart, she is super friendly and is fantastic around children. She is currently homed with both older and younger dogs, all of which she gets along well with. Harper will probably grow into a medium size dog

Harper was adopted on 11 June 2011 after 2 weeks in foster care

Chubba

Chubba

Labrador x - male

Chubba was found dumped in a box with his 3 siblings at a park. He is the biggest of the litter and that's how he got his name chubba! Chubba has only just come into care but he has already shown that he is a happy playful boy that likes both my dogs and my cats. This boy will be a medium to large dog when fully grown so will need a good sized yard. Chubba will be avaliable to go to his new home on the 31st of May but enquires are most welcome before then.

Is not avaliable for adoption interstate.

Chubba was adopted on 11 June 2011 after 3 weeks in foster care

Minnie

Minnie

Mastiff x Shepherd - female

Minnie is an all-action puppy. She's fun, energetic and very clever. Minnie knows her name, can sit and comes when called. She also loves playing with her brother Wombat and her 2 other canine house-mates. Minnie is a very inquisitive puppy so she will need an owner willing to give her plenty of training and attention.
