Henri

Henri

Jack Russel - male

What a delightful lively bundle of joy this little fella is, (approx 60cm length, 25cm height) and in top condition. Super switched on and ready for anything. Love’s to play fetch however can be protective at times with his possessions, bed, toys and food, (he may growl and nip) care must be taken when handling such items and care/supervision in the presence of young children. Our foster carer found that this protective nature of Henri's changed after a few days of him settling in to his new environment and trusting our carer. We are looking to re home Henri with person/s who are patient and experienced in handling dogs, prepared to give Henri time to settle in to his new environment and be the happy bubbly boy he is. Fully house trained, sleeps in at night and is walked daily. Henri loves his leash free runs in secure environments. He travels great in the car and gets on with most other dogs. Socialising Henri is an important part of him developing more confidence around bigger dogs. After a little shaky start Henri now enjoys the company of Buddy an 18mth old easygoing Shepard x Husky which is our carers dog, they have become good mates. Henri is a dog that wants to be your best mate whether you fly solo or are in a family situation. Along with his big personality Henri is a ball of loving energetic fun. Easy to train and already has a few tricks up his sleeve. I can’t imagine anyone who has the time to allow Henri to settle not loving this boy. Sadly his former family had to let him go due to personal circumstances. We have ensured the family that Henri’s new owners will give him all the love and care that is needed for him to have a great fun filled life. Henri does have a switch off button and relaxes nicely .
Henri is in care in Revesby NSW. Please contact Rod 0418239763. DCH Foster Carer.

Claire

Claire

DSH - female

UPDATE: 17 June 2017

I have such a sweet nature and will show you how much I love you by rubbing up against your feet every which way I can, the second you get home and take your shoes off. In fact, I must confess that I have a massive foot fetish! Feet, socks and shoes. I love them. And the stinkier the better. I’ll give you a foot massage at the end of a long day, or you can just let me stick my head inside your runners after a workout!

I’m a young lady, but I’ve been looking for love for a long time - two and a half years in fact. That’s almost my whole life.

My brother and I were found in a box at the back of a car park. We were just tiny kittens then, and I’ve since blossomed into a wonderful cat - beautiful and friendly. I’ve loved staying with my wonderful foster carer, but it’s high time I found a home to call my very own.

I love giving attention, but I can be a little shy about receiving it. Let’s lay on the couch together - I’ll nudge and purr, you just sit back and enjoy.

My bucket list: To be queen of my very own castle. I do love to perch myself up high and watch all the goings on.

My ideal match: A home where I can be free to do my own thing, and get plenty of attention at a time and in a manner of my choosing. I’d really prefer all your love to myself. I think after my rough start in life I deserve to be spoiled. So a home without other pets, or very young children would be ideal.

I’ve got a great appetite, am toilet trained and ready for a loving forever home. If you can offer me a forever home please call or email to arrange a meeting at Redfern.

Winston

Winston

DSH - male

Winston is a beautiful and talkative cat looking for a new home as his owner has passed away.
He was originally owned by some males and then given up for adoption.

He is a 4 and 8mth male neutered house cat.He is a gorgeous cat. Has all his vet stuff up to date. He loves to chat.

He came to his former owner nearly 2 years ago and she would complain about how he was always wanting food and playing too rough for her and then scratching and grabbing her feet.

He is toilet trained and has been an apartment cat whilst she had him.
He is at the right weight according to the vet.
He loves to be around adults and hasn't really been exposed to other animals or children. He can swipe at you if he has had enough of something. Hence the owner use to get the vet to clip his claws. He sometimes hisses at the cat next door and runs to his bowl and talks till he gets feed so I assume he is an emotional feeder.

He is quite unsettled now but has been behaving ok . I did lay out clothes for him when the owner died. I have seen him entertain himself for a better word in his basket.I assume this behavior is he was bored.
He is an individual not a lap cat.
He does love affection but only on his terms. If he rolls onto his back he will more than likely strike you.

Caru

Caru

DSH - male

Hello, my name is Caru, it is a Welsh word meaning love. I have this name because I have a big grey patch of fur on my chin in the shape of a heart. I am a very pretty dark grey boy with a white blaze on my face and white socks and lovely brown eyes. When I first came to my foster home I was very scared. I didn’t want anyone to come near me or to touch me. If I was caught & picked up I went very still hoping that they would not hurt me. It took me about a week before I could stand to be held but then I realised that it felt really nice and so I purred. Now I am happy to be picked up and I purr a lot. I am still very scared of strangers so I would like someone to take me home with them who would spend the time to get to know me until I feel safe with them too. I also get on well with all the other cats in the house.

Coco

Coco

DSH - female

Hello, my name is Coco and I am told that I am a very, very pretty silver tabby (just like the kitten in the Whiskas commercial). I came to my foster family with my brothers and I was very scared. At first, I didn’t want to be touched but after a couple of days I discovered that it was actually really nice and now whenever I see my foster people I purr really loudly and like to be picked for a cuddle. However, I am still a little scared of strangers so I would like someone to take me home with them who would spend the time to get to know me until I feel safe with them too. I also get on well with all the other cats in the house.

Lucy

Lucy

DSH - female

Lucy came into care with her siblings Cody and Toby.

She is a sweetheart with a lot of love to give, she is confident, friendly, and playful with her both her siblings and humans.

Lucy is very inquisitive, she likes to follow us around the house and check everything out. She also has a sneaky side, as soon as you open a door she is quick to slide in, sometimes without you knowing, more than once I have closed a door behind me and 10 minutes later, i hear her having a ball with all the new things to play with.

She is full of character, likes getting into everything and mostly a great entertainer.

She is also very aware when she is doing something she isn’t supposed to do, as you will see in one of her photos. She could battle my teenage daughter in an eye rolling competition haha

Lucy is a big fan of toys on rope and things that roll or move, and absolutely loves the cat tower.

She would love to be in a home with other younger cats or kittens, but would be happy with a human family to play with too. She would really love a family that lets her snuggle up in bed, or on the lounge with you, she is a purr machine when she is sharing your warmth.

Lucy is litter trained and looking for an indoors home.

She has been treated for fleas/worms and is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated, she is located in Kingswood

Lucy is currently being treated for ringworm, she is still available for adoption if you are comfortable with continuing treatment.

Lucy was adopted on 20 August 2017 after 3 months in foster care

Fletcher

Fletcher

domestic short hair - male

Gorgeous, quirky.unique and definitely handsome young man.Fletcher has an independent playful nature.

Fletcher loves to snuggle on your lap while you watch TV but now that the heater is out he is the first one there.

Fletcher lives with an adult female cat and while they get along most of the time there are times when she wishes he would just vanish and for this reason I think he would be better as an only cat...however...he does also love the company of his 3 canine foster sisters,he feels he is part of the gang.

Fletcher is not an 'in your face' cat at all.Fletcher uses his litter box like a champion and loves his food.

He is already de-sexed and fully vaccinated .

Fletcher really deserves a home of his own.
I feel Fletcher would be more than just your cat he will become your best friend

Fletcher was adopted on 17 August 2017 after 6 months in foster care
