Charlie

Charlie

Maltese Cross - male

Charlie has been in foster care for a few months now and is a very different dog than when he first arrived.

Video of Charlie 12/01/2017

https://youtu.be/o3qT8I7wD0I

Charlie is now a happier and friendlier but it does take a while for him to adjust to new people. He seems to be more relaxed around younger adults and seems to have a complex about older adults which could have something to do with this past. Charlie is protective of his yard and owners and will bark at people visiting.

Charlie is an outside dog and still needs further obedience training.

He will sit with coaching for food treats. He works very well on a lead and really enjoys his walks around the neighbourhood.

He is happy to be around familiar people and looks for attention. He does not mind driving in the car. He is probably best suited in a home without young children and he would prefer younger to middle aged adults for company.

Charlie is possessive of his food but he has started to relax a little more about sharing.

Charlie has bonded well with the foster carer’s Beagle and they get along well together but they can play a little rough from time to time. He would be best suited in a home without other dogs although he has shown he can adjust to another dog in the yard however he just needed time and patience. He will be best suited to a home whom is prepared to give him plenty of time and attention.

He has been microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. He is confirmed by the vet as having been previously desexed.

He is currently in foster care in Quakers Hill

Charlie was adopted on 11 July 2017 after 8 months in foster care

Lia

Lia

DMH - female

On trail with a new family! Foster Carer Required by 30/6/17 or will have to kennelled. If you can offer a permanent or temp home for Lia contact us asap

Lia was rescued from a very sad environment where she received very little love and human contact. She is a beautiful girl who is trying to put all that behind her now as she settles into her temporary foster home and enjoys the interaction with the humans and her foster brothers/sisters.

Because of her past, Lia is looking to be rehomed with a very special person who will give her the time, patience and love needed for her to come out of her shell and show her true personality. She is a lovely cat who is very deserving of the best home she can find. To begin with Lia pretends she doesn't like cuddles but then after a while she will settle right into it and start to purr very loudly as you find her favourite ticklish spots. She loves her cat bikkies and goes crazy for her special treat......bbq chicken! She has a gorgeous medium length coat with stunning swirls of black, orange and cream throughout. Lia is microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and up to date with her flea and worm treatments. If you would like to meet her, or for more information, please contact her foster carer.

Lia is in foster care in Lane Cove, NSW.

Lia was adopted on 02 July 2017 after 2 months in foster care

Qantas

Qantas

DSH - male

URGENT!! Foster Carer Required by 30/6/17 or will have to kennelled. If you can offer a permanent or temp home for Qantas please contact us asap

It's a bird, it's a plane...no, it's the foster-kitty Qantas! Zooming around the house, playing with toys, and wrestling with the other foster kitties, Qantas is an energetic and lovely little male kitty who was born in care to a mother with the most beautiful temperament.
Qantas started off being a little shy when meeting new people but he has turned into a delightful snuggle buddy!! Sit down on the couch and he will clamber all over the couch to get to you, and then will start his little purring-engine while he nuzzles into your neck and headbutts your chin.

He's settling in well with his foster brother and sisters so would suit an indoor home with other pets, or as an only-cat - it's up to you! As a young cat, we are waiting until he is at the correct minimum weight before he is desexed, and his adoption fee will cover this, as well his microchipping, vaccinations and up-to-date flea and worming.

if you would love to have Qantas join your family please contact his foster carer for a meet and greet.

Qantas was adopted on 02 July 2017 after 5 months in foster care

Ansett

Ansett

DSH - male

Foster Carer Required by 30/6/17 or will have to kennelled. If you can offer a permanent or temp home for Ansett contact us asap

Ansett as a kittie, is like a single-person light aircraft... little runt out of the litter, but still has a loud purr (like the engine) when you get some cuddles.
Born in care (his brother is Qantas) to a lovely and friendly mother, Ansett always uses his litter tray, his scratching post and loves snuggling up with his foster brothers and sisters.

He is a petite little boy, and while he does enjoy playing with his toys and other kitties, Ansett is more of a quiet and introverted sweet little fella that will prefer to keep to his own and watch the action.

Ansett will suit a home either as a solo cat or one with other pet-friends... Preferably indoors as like his name-sake, he is a little flighty and will likely scare from the big wide world out there. He's managed to have baths at his foster carers home and have his nails clipped, and has lovely manners with his food.

He is a sweet little thing that will turn into a lovely lap cat and is waiting for a family to bring him home!

Ansett was adopted on 02 July 2017 after 3 months in foster care

Cougar

Cougar

DSH - male

COUGAR was born in care to a mother with the most beautiful temperament, his temperament is proving simliarly loving and adorable. Cougar is the whole package, he loves to play with his brothers but enjoys a cuddle as well.

Cougar is coming up to his "teenage" months and he's proving to be a typical teenage boy - gangly, and a bit uncoordinated, shows no fear (will have wrestling matches with dogs 25 times his own size), loves his sport and his tv viewing and can often be found in front of the computer or with a magazine.

Cougar is very purry and affectionate. He is used to dogs and other cats and enjoys playing with them. He is great with kids and is a real lapcat. He will fit easily into a family home. He is currently indoor only and is ok with that, although he'd be best suited to a bigger home, rather than a small apartment.

Cougar is ready (desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated) and waiting now for your call.

PS Cougar has a bad habit of blinking EVERY time we take a photo, please don't hold that against him!

Cougar was adopted on 02 July 2017 after 3 months in foster care

Flute

Flute

DSH - male

Sleek and shiny, pretty little boy,
Eager to give a family, lots of joy!
Soft black coat and a face that's cute,
Yes indeed, that's our boy; Flute!

Gee-whiz, it has been so hard taking nice photos of Flute! Not only does his rich, all-black coat make it tricky, but as soon as I'm near him he comes up to give my hand a little head-butt and get cuddles! He LOVVVVES attention! Loud purrs, wrapping in and around my legs and constantly climbing onto my lap for pats - a super lovely, friendly boy!

Flute is a charming young man who has spent too long in foster care, and would make a wonderful companion to a a wide variety of home environments.

He always uses his litter tray, accepts his nails being clipped, and is a complete fiend when a feather on a string comes out - he is obsessed and will ran, leap and pounce onto it until he's successfully caught it. For this reason, Flute needs to be an indoor only cat as he has amazing hunting and catching skills that would be no match for our native wildlife.
Flute is also a little fatso with food and will gobble up anything that's nearby (probably a trait left over from before he was in foster care when he had to fight for his food), so for this reason I separate him from his other foster brother and sisters at meal time so he doesn't steal all their food.

Flute has been a purely wonderful house-guest and I have been delighted to foster him. With a bit o'love and trust, he has flourished, and will continue to do so with his adoptive family.

Flute was adopted on 01 July 2017 after 5 months in foster care
