Shoeshine and Rosie

Shoeshine and Rosie

Cattle x Border Collie - female

Rosie and Shoeshine are both gorgeous playfull puppies. Shoeshine is the more submissive and is easily bullied by other dogs. She loves to be inside with you and is quite well behaved for a young puppy. Rosie is a snuggler and such a happy little girl who loves children.

Shoeshine and Rosie was adopted on 25 June 2008 after 4 weeks in foster care

Nicky

Nicky

Mastiff x - female

Nikki is an extremely pretty girl with lots of love to give who loves cuddles and to be with people. She has a really unique way of relaxing with her two hind legs spread out like a frog as shown in one of the photos below. Nikki is a very obedient girl who knows how to sit and stay and would be easily trained as she loves to please you and is very clever and responsive. She would need to be an only dog as she is not very fond of other dogs, however she is fine with cats and birds and is currently travelling with a Galah in the same car every weekend for an hour or more within very close proximity of each other and it is the bird that creates the uproar while Nikki totally ignores him, it is so funny to watch the 2 of them together. She loves to travel in the car, always first in then you will be lucky to get her out. She loves to play with balls, sticks any toys on offer and she will bring you so much joy, her eyes are full of expression and sometimes you feel like she is talking to you with them. We would love for Nikki to find what she deserves which is a loving 1 dog only home and where she knows she will be looked after for the rest of her life.

Nicky was adopted on 25 June 2008 after 3 months in foster care

Tasha

Tasha

Husky x - female

Tasha is a great little companion. She rarely barks, is fine on a lead and doesn?t jump up. She always is pleased to see you, and if you?re lucky she will bless you with her treasured ?smile? (just like that dog food commercial on TV) although it looks quite menacing, be assured she is happy to see you. Tasha needs to be the only dog in the home, but is great with kids and enjoys playing fetch. She is responding well to obedience training and is a content happy dog.

Tasha was adopted on 25 June 2008 after 3 months in foster care

Natasha

Natasha

DSH - female

Possible Ragdoll x?

Natasha is a quiet girl that would like nothing better than relaxing on your lounge or bed or somewhere nice in the sun. She would prefer to be an indoor cat as her nose is pink and she might get sunburnt. She is a little shy but probably only because of what she has been through and has only just arrived at her foster carer's place. I would say she would be suited to a home with adults and prefer a quiet environment. Tasha has the markings of a seal point bicolour ragdoll so could possibly be a ragdoll cross. Her coat is thick and probably a bit longer than normal but not medium or long hair so wouldn't need to be groomed very much. She is a stunning looking girl who is looking for somewhere nice and caring to curl up and call her forever home.

Natasha was adopted on 22 June 2008 after 1 month in foster care

Stubby

Stubby

Cattle x Shep - male

Stubby is great with people and has real personality. He's very intelligent and likes to be by your side at all times. Stubby likes the water and playing with toys. He has an awesome personality and will make a loyal and loving companion dog.

Little Stubby has a green stick fracture in is right hind leg and it looks like the growth plate has seperated on his leg also. He'll be in a cast for the next two weeks but will hopefully make a full recovery

Update 1/2/08: Stubby is out of his cast now and the leg appears to have healed well. If you can help sponsor some of the additional vet bills associated with Stubby's accident then please call Megan on 9627 2767 or email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au

Jess

Jess

Silky Terrier x - female

Jess is a lovely, sweet girl with a great temperament. She is very well behaved and would be great with kids and/or other dogs. Jess is currently mostly an outside dog but would love to be inside with her forever family also. She has basic obedience and is fine walking on lead and in the car. She is bigger than a silky terrier and very pretty. She is being cared for in the Wollongong area.

Inky

Lab x Kelpie - male

Inky is a fantastic companion, he just wants to be loved, when he greets you his whole body shakes with enthusiasm. He is very responsive to commands and is very well behaved. He knows how to sit, lay down and stay and is house trained, although he will need ongoing training. He gets on well with other dogs and is very social at the dog park although he'd prefer to be an only dog at home so he can have all of your attention. He's just discovered the dog beach and he is definately a water dog, he just loves splashing around and having a good swim. He just adores people and is a lovely, lovely boy who is ready to go to his new home now.
