Harley

Harley

Mini Foxi X - male

Harley is a beautiful Mini Foxi who has found himself in need of a new home.

He was hit by a motorbike in November and was rushed to a 24X7 hospital by a good Samaritan who helped him and got him to the vets. The vets took great care of Harley for a week to help him recover from his injuries. They discovered via x-ray that he has a broken pelvis and is on a mandated rest and recovery period to recover from his injury but is not on any medications or treatments.

After a week in hospital he was sent to the pound as an un-microchipped stray as no owner had come looking for him at the vets. Harley remained at the pound for his impound period but unfortunately he was not claimed by his owner and has been released to rescue to rehome him once he has finished recovering.

Harley is a smart dog and is very friendly. His tail is always wagging and is a happy dog. He knows "Up" when your sitting down and will jump up into your lap for a cuddle. He will beg for treats and attention. He walks well on a lead.

He has a strong attachment to his humans and gets anxious when they go out of site so has some separation anxiety. He seems to be ok with a similar sized female dog and they are currently getting along ok.

Based on his current personality we would like to rehome him into a home with no other dogs and with an owner who is home more often than not. An experienced dog owner is probably ideal. Harley will need some time to adjust and settle into a new life and we just need to find the right home for him. He will need a home with a secure yard and fencing and will need to be able to be an indoors/outdoors dog as he needs to be near his human. He is best in a home without cats as he seems to want to get at them and will probably chase them if given an opportunity. He does not like having his mouth or side of the face touched. He would be best in a home without young children but seems to be ok with him as he is more interested in what the adults are doing.

Harley has been comfortable in a car in his past life as he gets very excited when near the car and when you open the door he wants to try and jump in.

Harley will be available for adoption once he has been desexed and had a heart worm test and been given the OK by the vets to be rehomed. Expressions of interest are welcome now.

He has received an F5 vaccination, worming and flea treatments and is now microchipped.

Located in the Quakers Hill area.

4/12 - Harley has been placed on Hold while we review enquiries that have been received.

Zander

Zander

DSH - male

Zander and Jynx have come into foster care after being surrendered from a farm near Bega. They were being looked after by a worker on the farm who has socialised them and looked after them. They were both very lucky to transported to Sydney by a caring individual who drove them for 6 hours to come into foster care.

They are both beautiful kittens with a great personality.
They both purr loudly when pat and cuddles and they love attention.
Both kittens enjoy any play time.

Zander has a big appetite and really enjoys his food.
Jynx is a little more laid back. Jynx has 2 different colour eyes.

They have been desexed, microchipped, and given worm and flea treatments. They have received their 1st F3 vaccination but will require 2 more additional vaccinations to be fully vaccinated which is not included in the adoption fee.

Ashlene

Ashlene

DSH - female

Ashlene and her siblings were born in foster care. She is a typical playful, cuddly kitten. Not the most outgoing kitten in the litter but once she gets to know you she's keen on a pat and cuddles.

Ashlene would probably like to go to a home with another cat to play with or make friends with but that isn't essential.

Ashlene was adopted on 07 December 2020 after 1 week in foster care

Luna

Luna

shd - female

Luna is a sweet and pretty silver tabby girl who was brought into care with her mum and 5 other siblings. She is a brave little girl who uses the kitty litter and likes to eat kitten kibble, climbing, jumping, playing and running in the halls. She gets along with other cats and has been cautiously introduced to a small dog.

Luna was adopted on 06 December 2020 after 2 weeks in foster care

Stella

Stella

shd - female

Stella is Luna's 'right hand man'. They stick together, play, run, jump, chase together. She's used the litter box right from the start and is beginning to eat kitten kibble but still feeding off her mummy's milk as well. She gets along with other cats and seems confident around a small dog but caution still needs to be used of course.
She's a full silver tabby in colour but has a bit of orange on her foot and the tip to her tail.

Stella was adopted on 06 December 2020 after 2 weeks in foster care

Ashton

Ashton

DSH - male

Ashton and his siblings were born in foster care. He looks just like his mummy who has just gone off to her forever home.

Ashton is a lovely, cuddly, adventerous, confident little kitten. He would be great for a home with kids as he loves to play and is good at being carried around and smooching.

He is quite the explorer so a large house would suit him as he gets older (he wouldn't be suited to apartment living) and he is fine with other cats.

Ashton will really fit easily into any household after a lovely, playful, friendly cat.

Ashton was adopted on 06 December 2020 after 6 days in foster care

Yoko

Yoko

Domestic Medium Hair - female

Yoko and her 3 siblings, Yuki, Yoshi & Yoda, were handed in to Campbelltown Pound after being discovered in an inground pool filter. Unfortunately, the mumcat could not be caught so these 3 week old kittens were fostered by DCH and hand-raised.

As they have been around people since very young, they are extremely well-socialised and affectionate. These kittens must be kept as Inside Only cats for their own well-being and safety.

Yoko is a very cute, very cheeky kitten who loves to play and explore the house but is always ready for a cuddle. As Yoko has a medium length coat, she is getting used to being brushed so she looks her best. Yoko would suit most families who will give her love and attention and ensure that she is kept as an indoor cat.

The adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and desexing. These kittens are also litter-trained and socialised with other kittens and cat-friendly dogs.

Please use the "Send enquiry email" link below, if you have any questions or if you are interested in adopting.

As we currently receive lots of enquiries for each kitten, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets do you can be considered for adoption. If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.
