Zena

Zena

DSH - female

Zena is a beautiful cat who has had a rather sad time of it lately. Just days after giving birth, Zena has had to cope with the stress of being dumped at the pound, moving to her carers home and then having 3 of her kittens die. Despite all this, Zena remains an affectionate and friendly cat. She does enjoy her peace and quiet and is happiest just hanging around the house or napping in the afternoon sun. Zena hasn't taken much of an interest in the other cats here, preferring to watch them play and carry on, rather than joining in. She is terrified of my dogs so will need to be re-homed in a household where there are no dogs. Zena is a small eater and is litter trained. Currently she is an indoors only cat and has shown no interest whatsoever in going outside. I believe Zena would make a wonderful companion for a couple or single person as a home with young children would be too loud and unsettling for her. Zena isn't available for adoption for another 2 weeks but if you'd like to meet with her beforehand please don't hesitate to contact me.

Zena was adopted on 06 October 2011 after 2 months in foster care

Ivory

Ivory

DSH - male

Ivory is a big smoochy kitten with striking green eyes. He is dog and cat friendly and absolutely adores my three year old son. Ivory will come for cuddles all the time and he is the smoochiest, most affectionate cat who loves his human family. He will follow you around the house and he would fit in very easily with existing pets and children or by himself. A big boy for his age, he plays like a little kitten and loves to be outside for very short periods. Ivory spends 95% of the day inside and as he is pure white, he would need to have his time outdoors limited. He loves a warm spot to sleep in and he will happily sleep near a sunny window. If Ivory were to be let outside, he would need a secure space which he cannot escape from and access to inside and shade at all times. He chases his dog and cat playmates around the backyard and he would be fine with a gentle cat friendly dog who is not too boisterous or who would snap at him. Ivory would settle into his new forever home very easily as he is such a friendly and outgoing baby and he is waiting to meet his new forever family who will simply adore his personality.

Puddycat

Puddycat

DSH - male

These kittens have been hand raised since only tiny babies, they've had the best of both worlds though, with several adult cats in their carers home also stepping in to help mother them as they've grown. So they are now the most beautiful, friendly, affectionate cats who are easy to handle, gentle and litter trained. They are real lapcats and will fit easily into any household.

Harley

Harley

male

Harley is a smaller than average boy with small, well-shaped feet. He will probably always be smaller than average even after he is an adult. He is even more affectionate now that he is 'king' of the house and hops up on my bed in the morning to give me a nudge with his nose and a kiss good morning. He enjoys a good long pat while laying on my lap at night and sometimes gets carried away and starts to knead away with his front paws like he is nursing. He is a cat that will come when called and always seems to have a kitty smile on his face when he greets you. He has short hair and is full orange in colour and won't need as much grooming as other cats. As a 'teen-ager' he has a bit of kitty acne which I am told is something he may grow out of and is nothing to worry about. Very rarely he likes to go outside but never stays out long. He is very happy being an indoor cat close to his favorite human. Harley is used to large and small dogs. Sometimes Harley thinks he should eat vegetables or dog food and does not hesitate to help my old Cocker Spaniel eat her dinner so caution needs to be used while around other dogs which are not used to sharing. He prefers to sleep on your bed if allowed to but is willing to sleep in his own bed with the door closed if need be. He is slightly smaller than other boys his age and probably won't end up as big as other males when he is an adult. He gets along with other cats, dogs and humans.

Jinx

Jinx

DSH - male

Jinx is a super affectionate cat who loves to sit on your lap. He is a calm kitten, and loves kids. He tolerates my small dog and is happy to be adopted with his sister Sox or on his own as he just wants a human to love.

Frankie

Frankie

DSH - female

Frankie has been rescued from the street when only a little kitten where she was suffering from the flu. She's spent the last month being nursed back to health by a caring vet who took pity on her and now she's all safe and in good health with a DCH carer. Her markings resemble a cheetah kitten, regular black hatching over grey and tan undercoat, she's a very pretty girl with intelligent eyes. She is very sweet natured and is coming out of her shell rapidly. Her purr is unmistakeable, she sounds like a miniature engine on overload and loves being stroked and patted sitting on your lap. She also has a habit of hiding her head in the crook of your arm. A joy to have around.

Gallipoli

Gallipoli

DSH - male

Gallipoli is an extremely affectionate and friendly kitten who would let you cuddle and pat him all day if he had his way. He's not at all backward when he wants you to cuddle or pat him and will come and nudge your hand with his head, purring loudly. Gallipoli is also fond of curling up with you in bed and once he's asleep, won't move again until you do. J Gallipoli gets on extremely well with his siblings as well as the other cats I have here. He has no fear or interest in either of my dogs. Gallipoli is a good eater and is litter trained. I believe Gallipoli would make a wonderful addition to any home that's looking for a loving, smoochy and friendly feline.

Anzac

Anzac

DSH - male

Anzac is a gentle and quiet kitten, but like the rest of his siblings, incredibly affectionate. He loves spending time with his siblings but is equally happy on his own making him an ideal companion for either someone at home or a working household. Anzac loves people of any age as long as they have a lap and a cuddle ready for him. He has no problems with the other cats here or my dogs. Anzac is a good eater and is litter trained. If you're looking for a gorgeous cat who is a real sweetheart then please come and meet with Anzac.

Ebony

Ebony

DSH - male

Ebony is the most beautiful black panther with striking green eyes. He is almost pure black with white flecks through his coat and a white spot on his chest. He is a very gentle, affectionate, smoochy kitten who is quite a big boy for his age. Ebony plays like a little kitten with his feline housemates and although he can be a little shy at first but he will reward you with lots of love and affection when he gets to know you. Ebony has settled in very quickly and loves to be inside in a quiet, warm sunny spot. He will come to you looking for affection and he loves to be patted and stroked, he will roll on his back and purr his heart out. Ebony can be quite overwhelmed in a noisy household and his forever family would need to have older children or no children at all. Ebony is cat and dog friendly and he will settle with existing gentle 4 legged companions or he would also be happy by himself. He has the most placid, loving nature that you could meet and he would settle in with his new forever family very easily.

Ebony was adopted on 12 September 2011 after 5 months in foster care
