Annie Oakley

Annie Oakley

DSH - female

This kitten has come into care after their litter was found alone in a shopping centre car park.

They will mostly purr the moment you touch them or pick them up but they can be a little wary of new people to begin with.

The litter of 5 have been cared for together since they were approx 4 weeks of age and are now ready to find their new families.

They have been desexed.
They are received their 1st and 2nd F3 Vaccinations.

They have been raised as indoors cats but have had access to an outdoors netted enclosure.

They currently eat Royal Canin Kitten dry food throughout the day as well as Royal Canin kitten instinctive with gravy wet food of a night time. They are currently using crystal cat litter.

Annie Oakley was adopted on 02 June 2021 after 3 months in foster care

Echo

Echo

Domestic Short Hair - female

Echo and her brother Elvis were rescued from under a house in Macquarie Fields and were then surrendered into DCH care.

Echo is such a sweet little marble Tabby who absolutely loves pats and attention. Echo came into foster care with what seemed to be cat flu but she did not respond to any antibiotics or treatment and still had great trouble breathing. In addition, this tiny girl is still only 1kg at nearly 6 months old.

This poor little kitty is very lethargic and unwell but still so affectionate and cuddly! 😻

UPDATE 15/04/21
On the 7th April, Echo was anaesthetised at Rossmore Vet Hospital, and a large growth could be seen down her throat. The growth was removed and Echo was given a cortisone injection, plus a 5 day course of antibiotic injections.

The next few weeks will determine if this has been a success but so far, so good - Echo has put on 200g in a week and her breathing seems normal!

UPDATE 7/05/21
Echo has put on another 300g and is now a dainty 1.5kg (at 6.5months old)!! She was finally well enough today to get her first vaccination!

UPDATE 31/05/21
After recovering so well from her Desexing surgery and now weighing 1.9kg, Echo had her first meet and greet with Emily & Matt and... Echo is being adopted!! This gorgeous girl has found the loving home that she deserves and I will certainly miss fostering her!

————————-

This gentle-natured, affectionate kitten deserves the proper care and treatment so she can go on to find a special forever family. Any help with her vet costs (currently at $1,046) would be very much appreciated.

Joe

Joe

Domestic Short Hair - male

Joe and Don were surrendered into care when they were around 3 weeks old as orphans. They have been bottle raised for 2-3 weeks and cared for since they were young but are now ready to find their new families.

They are very active young kittens with lots of energy. They love to play and explore. They purr once they are comfortable with you but generally do take a little while to adjust to new people.

They have been raised as indoors only cats so would be looking for a home where they can remain safely indoors.

They are used to having a Breeders Choice paper littler in an open tray with a lip. They eat Royal Canin Second Stage dry cat food and Royal Canin Kitten instinctive gravy wet food.

They have been desexed, microchipped, and given worm and flea treatments. They have received their 1st and 2nd F3 vaccination but will require 1 more additional vaccination to be fully vaccinated which is not included in the adoption fee.

Located in the PETstock @ Rouse Hill cat adoption enclosure and can be visited during store hours.

Moo

Moo

DSH - male

Moo is a typical friendly playful little boy. He loves wrestling with his siblings, eating and get cuddles. He is quick to purr and enjoys being handled and having a snooze on laps.

He is great with other cats and children. He would be best suited to a busy indoor home with lots of people or another cat to keep him amused. He is quite the active character and can be found standing on 2 legs often or carrying toys around in his mouth.

Moo is ready for his new home now.

Moo was adopted on 29 May 2021 after 3 weeks in foster care

Carita

Carita

DSH - male

Carita is the smallest of his litter and the most outgoing. This little explorer doesn't show any fear and loves everybody.

He is very cuddly and likes to settle into laps for nap time. He enjoys eating, playing with his litter mates and being carried around.

A great all rounder, if you're after a friendly, fun-filled, lap cat then he's the boy for you. Carita is available to an indoor only home.

Carita will be available to take home after 19th May, enquiries welcome now.

Carita was adopted on 24 May 2021 after 2 weeks in foster care

Dublin

Dublin

DSH - male

Dublin is now 8 weeks old but too young to be desexed yet. However, you can sign a Deferred Desexing Agreement (promising to have him desexed at a DCH vet at 12 weeks old), and take Dublin home now. DCH still cover the cost of desexing.

Dublin and his brother Dylan were rescued from Hawkesbury Pound, and have been in DCH Foster Care since 8th April 2021. (Sadly their tiny other brother passed away).

Dublin is a very playful and cheeky little ginger who can be very excitable! He meows and purrs for attention and loves his food, both wet and dry, and drinks lots of fresh water. Both Dublin and Dylan were also litter-trained very early.

Dublin is currently being socialised with the residential cats, puppies and dogs, as well as other foster kittens. Dublin will also be confident with people and household noises etc as he is allowed to roam and play throughout my home.

The $225 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming/flea-treatment, first vaccination (of 3) and desexing.

Please use the "Send enquiry email" link below, if you have any questions or if you are interested in meeting/adopting Dublin. If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18 years old to adopt an animal.

Dublin was adopted on 23 May 2021 after 1 month in foster care

Chloe

Chloe

DSH - female

Chloe is a real little cuddle bug. A friendly, playful little kitten, she enjoys a rumble with her litter mates but will always seek out her foster carers for lots of purry cuddles.

Chloe will make a great addition to any indoor only household. She is fine with kids and other cats.

Chloe will be available to take home after 19th May, enquiries welcome now.

Chloe was adopted on 22 May 2021 after 2 weeks in foster care

Cyrrus

Cyrrus

DSH - male

As Cyrrus has had multiple vet visits and treatments to manage eye infections, costing over $500, any donation towards these costs would be much appreciated. Cyrrus has now fully recovered although I do wipe his eyes just to make sure.

Cyrrus and his 3 siblings, Clementine, Cobain and Chile were surrendered to DCH by a lovely family whose cat, Mimi (now desexed), had an unplanned pregnancy! As they have been socialised since birth, these gorgeous kittens are going to love finding their Forever Families and getting all that special attention which they deserve.

Cyrrus is a little sweetie (his mum is a purebred white ragdoll!), who loves company and will often meow if he finds himself alone. He loves back rubs and cuddles, and has become a very confident and chunky little guy. Cyrrus is curious and playful and has developed a beautifully thick and soft coat.

Cyrrus will suit any family who will give him lots of love and attention. He also loves our resident cats (unfortunately they don’t like kittens), and our big cat-friendly dogs. Cyrrus also loves to follow people around the house to see what’s going on, and runs to the front door to greet visitors

His tail is like an antenna which indicates his mood - normally it stands straight up, as Cyrrus is a happy little guy! Cyrrus would suit a busy home with lots going on or a quiet home where he is the centre of attention. He would also be a great companion for a cat-loving dog!

The $225 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming/flea-treatment, first vaccination (of 3) and desexing - Cyrrus has now had all 3 of his kitten vaccinations. He is perfectly litter-trained and is eating Royal Canin wet and dry food.

Please use the "Send enquiry email" link below, if you have any questions or if you are interested in meeting/adopting Cyrrus. If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18 years old to adopt an animal.

Cyrrus was adopted on 22 May 2021 after 3 months in foster care

Hendrix

Hendrix

Domestic Short Hair - male

Hendrix is a cuddly, smoochy boy! Put him on your lap while on the couch, and he'll roll over, show his belly, and rub all over you while purring loudly.

He arrived into care very scared, but quickly warmed up to the other kitties and the dog at his foster carer's house.
He has never hissed at anyone, and is a very quiet boy - we are yet to hear him 'meow!'

Hendrix would suit a calm, indoor household. He has only briefly met young children, and will likely be ok with them (he doesn't use his claws when playing which is great) however as he is still learning about the world around him, he might take some time to get used to their loud noises and fast movements.

Hendrix uses his litter tray, and eagerly eats beef pet mince, wet cat pouches and kibble. He is easy to get along with, and would love to meet you for a cuddle! He is currently located at the PETStock Macquarie Centre adoption enclosure, and is available for viewing and meet-n-greets, during their normal opening hours.

Hendrix was adopted on 20 May 2021 after 1 week in foster care
