Milo

Milo

Cat - male

AVAILABLE FOR MEET AND GREET AND REHOMING NOW!

Mum and her 4 kittens (Lucy, Leo, Maddie and Milo) were surrendered into the care of DCH after being rescued struggling to survive in a back garden. They were all treated for cat flu immediately, only for them to develop ringworm (a common fungal condition) during their recovery. The poor little mites were, however well fed, vet treated, medicated and bathed to make them all better, and basically have been pampered as though they are in a spa! Despite being in isolation in a (rather large) space until recently, they’ve also had a great time - playing with just about anything, getting up to mischief, sleeping, eating, and snuggling with each other and their foster mum.

Like all kittens, they are full of beans in between naps – particularly just after dinner and early morning!

Milo has been described as the crazy one of the four kittens. He loves bouncing around, and is very playful and inquisitive. He loves lying on a lap, demanding belly rubs (sometimes upside down for quite a time) – and has been known on occasion to try to sit on his carer’s head. He also loves head rubs and rolls over when his carer is near. He’s enjoys all the (many) toys around - especially the table tennis balls.

Now fully healed, each member of the family is ready for his/her furever home. A family without resident cats or dogs would be preferable – so maybe you’d wish to consider adopting more than one of this little tribe! All must be indoor-only kitties – particularly as they all have little pink noses, which can be susceptible to skin cancer.

Milo is vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated, and desexed. So is raring to go to his new home.

If you are interested in learning more about the exuberant Milo, or wish to visit him at his foster home in Colyton, please contact Daphne.

Milo was adopted on 24 December 2020 after 1 month in foster care

Winter

Winter

Domestic - female

Winter is a beautiful and friendly cat who is looking for a loving forever home! She is approx 1 years old and was originally found as a street kitten.

She is an exceptionally engaging cat - very dog like but without all the maintenance! She likes to know what you are up to and sleep the day away next to you on the sofa (or by the chair if you work from home). She is truly the most affectionate cat I have come across - she LOVES to lick you (you will get a daily grooming session) and runs over to the door to greet you when you get home.

She is not a noisy cat, and has a very sweet little "chirp" and a gorgeous sqeaky purr (which activates as soon as you pat her).

She eats almost everything (not fussy on types of cat food but she has been eating raw food and dry kibble) and is quite adventurous with human food (loves blueberries - chasing them and eating them!).

She is very clean and tidy in her litter box, and is not a scratcher. So far she has not jumped on counters, and she does not disturb things or knock things over.

Before coming into foster with me, she was rescued up by a kind lady who had three greyhounds - she was fine with this so could possibly live with the right dogs and likely other cats too if an introduction was done right. She is not overly keen on being picked up but loves a good scratch and pat. I guess this is from her time on the street where she was not handled as a young kitten, so just isn't really used to it (you can try but she just jumps out of your arms).

She enjoys meeting new people and loves to chill with you when you're home (she would like lots of chin scratches if you have time). When you're out, you can find her snoozing the day away in her favourite spots (currently under the desk or spread out on the sofa!).

And she really is BEAUTIFUL (and knows it!) - she would benefit from someone home more often as she is social and loving.

Winter was adopted on 24 December 2020 after 2 months in foster care

Maddie is a fluffy girl, like her sister and mum. She doesn’t demand attention, but is happy to accept being picked up and stroked. She’s quite playful and was the first kitten to find out how much fun a toilet roll can be! She does love to play with her brother, the mighty Milo.
