Bjorn

Bjorn

Domestic Short Hair - male

Bjorn is such a sweet little boy. He is cuddly very sleek with very short hair. He has a gorgeous little face and such a loud purr as soon as he sees you. He loves his siblings and it would be ideal to adopt him with one of his brothers, Jo DiMaggio, Nanook or sisters Marilyn or Betty Boop. They are also listed for adoption.
Bjorn and his litter were found in the bonnet of an old car down the back of a man's property. He saw the mother cat taken by a fox so the lovely man went and saved the babies. He brought them to the animal shelter where they were rescued by DCH to have a second chance at life in a loving home.

Bjorn was adopted on 25 March 2020 after 5 days in foster care

Calister (aka Cali)

Calister (aka Cali)

Domestic Medium Haired - female

Calister found herself lost and homeless with her two 10 week old babies when just a wee kitty herself. A great mum to her own kittens, Ally and Judge, it’s time for this lovely calico girl to be thoroughly spoilt by her own furever family.

Calister has happily lived alongside 4 resident adult cats, as well as multiple foster kittens including her own. Only just 1 year old herself, she loves socialising and playing and sharing toys with them all.

She loooves her people, though. Calister has proved to be a real sweetheart and super affectionate. She’s also keen on a good chat, and has taken to being brushed like she was born to it! With a good scratch and petting added in she’s in heaven – although if she’s allowed on her carer’s bed, that is the icing on the cake.

Given all her attributes, we believe she’d adjust happily into any family provided she is not left alone for too long- a home with a resident cat to chill with could be good. While Calister needs to be able to keep an eye on the outside world for entertainment, she would be best as an indoor only kitty.

Calister is microchipped, desexed and up to date with vaccinations and treatments. So, she is ready and waiting to meet her new furever family

Calister (aka Cali) was adopted on 23 March 2020 after 3 months in foster care

Quincy

Quincy

DSH - male

Quincy

Indoor Only Cat

Available in NSW from 29th March 2020

Quincy and his siblings, Quinn and Quigley were abandoned kittens that have been bottle-fed and cared for since they were 3-4 weeks old.

Quincy is curious and affectionate and, at the moment, loves to walk on the laptop keyboard when in use, just to ensure he has your full attention! This little guy also enjoys exploring cat tunnels and having kitten naps on sunny windowsills.

As Quincy is still very young but quite confident, he will adapt to most families, although he has not been around small children.

The $200 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and desexing (at 12 weeks/over1kg). Quincy is also litter-trained and socialised with other kittens, and has also met our dogs.

Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to come and meet Quincy. You and your family are most welcome to organise a time to visit! Although Quincy won't be ready to take home until March as he needs to reach 900grams, I can put him on hold for you if you would like to adopt him.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt these kittens from DCH

Quincy was adopted on 21 March 2020 after 2 months in foster care

Reo

Reo

DSH - male

Reo

Indoor Only Cat

Available NOW

Reo is a beautiful silver tabby who was handed in to Campbelltown Pound all by himself. He was found wandering the suburbs all alone but there is no other history about this little guy.

Reo is a shy little kitten but he has just discovered that chin pats and scratches down his back, just on that spot before his tail, are reeaally nice! He also has a deep little purr when you itch the right spot which is very rewarding to hear.

Although he is still not a fan of pick-up cuddles, he does not squirm, bite or scratch at all when being held, and has been really good for his vet visits. As he is still only very young, I am sure it will only be a matter of time for Reo to understand he is now safe. His trust and behaviour have already improved so much in such a short amount of time.

I think Reo would suit a quieter forever home without small children. If you are looking to gain the trust and love of a beautiful little soul, then Reo is your perfect kitten! Beware of looking into his enormous eyes though, as they will melt you!

The $200 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and desexing. Reo is also litter-trained and socialised with other kittens.

Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to come and meet Reo. You and your family/friends are most welcome to organise a time to visit without any obligation, as it is really important that both you and Reo find the perfect match!

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt these kittens from DCH

Reo was adopted on 21 March 2020 after 2 months in foster care

Tigger

Tigger

DSH - male

Tigger and his brothers came into care after being found dumped in bushland. They are all very friendly and are enjoying being carried around and played with by the primary age kids at their foster carers place. Tigger will make a great addition to any family after a friendly, cuddly and playful kitten.

Tigger was adopted on 20 March 2020 after 2 months in foster care

Shepherd

Shepherd

Kelpie - male

Shepherd is a gorgeous young man, believed to be mostly Kelpie, and is around 8 months old. He has recently come into care and is living with a number of other dogs, and is absolutely perfect with all of them. He loves all people, can't get enough of the love, and is good with children but would be best with those who are a bit older as he is a jumpy young boy at the moment!
Shepherd came from a home where he began to get separation anxiety. Despite being walked, he doesn't cope if he is by himself, especially for long periods. However since being in care, he has been with another dog who has high energy like himself, and has shown no signs of his anxiety. As a result, it would be great for Shepherd to go to a home where he has another high-energy doggo to play with.
Please contact Rod, Shepherd's carer, to learn more about this boy and organise to meet him!

Shepherd was adopted on 18 March 2020 after 3 weeks in foster care

Eddie

Eddie

Domestic long hair cat - male

Eddie is a gorgeous boy from the litter of 5. He is cuddly and playful and loves to chase big cats and decorations on the Christmas tree.
Eddie is microchipped, vaccinated and flea treated. He is due for desexing in a few weeks

Eddie was adopted on 17 March 2020 after 2 months in foster care

Polar Bear

Polar Bear

DSH - male

Polar Bear was sadly dumped in the bush and is looking for a new home. He is super friendly and confident and used to being handled by children and joining in family activities.

The most vocal of his litter mates, he will talk to you when lonely or after your attention and generally he's just after a cuddle and affection. He loves sleeping next to you and is very easy to handle.

He is an explorer however and wouldn't be suitable for apartment living as he would be an escape artist but for a busy family home looking for a playful cuddle bunny he might be the perfect match.

Polar Bear is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed. He is now available for visits at PETStock, Penrith

Polar Bear was adopted on 16 March 2020 after 1 month in foster care

Ned

Ned

DSH - male

Ned and his 4 x siblings (Nigel, Noah, Nora & Nala), are DCH rescue kittens from Campbelltown Pound, where they were handed in without a mumcat.

These kittens should always be kept Indoors in their future homes, unless they are safely supervised outside.

These gorgeous kittens are very people friendly and confident, and just seem to crave love and attention. All 5 x kittens are healthy and playful and get on well with my other DCH foster kittens. All are drinking water and eating wet and dry kitten food, with good appetites.

Ned is the big boy of the litter but he is actually the big cuddly sook who purrs when you look at him. Ned comes running for a cuddle whenever he sees you and is beautifully affectionate! A typical lap cat in-the-making with both confidence and personality, Ned has also become good friends with our 2 big Golden Retrievers!

NOTE: Ned has bonded in-store with his sister, Nora, and they are now being adopted together.

The $200 adoption fee includes microchipping, worming, first vaccination and Ned has also been desexed

Ned is now in-store at PETSTOCK Macquarie Centre, so just stop by to meet him! Please contact me if you would like to know more about this beautiful boy!

Nora is the gorgeous Torti girl of the litter and full of playful energy. She loves playing with the other kittens or chasing a toy around by herself. She always seems to be in the middle of the action but Nora does enjoy a cuddle and snuggle with her humans.

NOTE: Nora has bonded in-store with her brother, Ned, and they are now being adopted together.
