Butterscotch

Butterscotch

DMH - male

Butterscotch came into care from a pound with his siblings when he was approximately 4 weeks of age. He is a beautiful, fluffy, playful and affectionate kitten. He gets on well with the resident cats and dog. Butterscotch and Chelsea are great mates, so it would be lovely if they could be rehomed together, however, they can still be sold separately.

He would love nothing better than to find his own forever indoor home.

He has been flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and his Desexing is covered under his adoption fee

Butterscotch is available for a meet and greet. He will be ready to leave foster care when he reaches 1kg approx early May. He is located near Penrith.

Butterscotch was adopted on 05 May 2018 after 3 weeks in foster care

Cricket

Cricket

Domestic Short Hair - female

My name is Cricket.

I've had a rocky start to life, born with my siblings within the walls of an industrial building. Lucky for me, one of the lady workers called DCH to come and rescue us and give us a second chance.

I'm still a bit of a scardy cat but I'm getting better as the weeks go by and happy to be patted and have plenty of attention bestowed on me.

I'm happy to run to my carer when called and come to dinner when called.

I'm called Cricket, because I have a funny cricket chirpie noise when I see my carer or run to her for play time or play with my siblings.

I've had my first vaccination and microchipped and due to be desexed on 24th April.

Cricket was adopted on 05 May 2018 after 1 month in foster care

Jaspa

Jaspa

Domestic Medium Hair - female

My name is Jaspa.

I've had a rocky start to life, born with my siblings within the walls of an industrial building. Lucky for me, one of the lady workers called DCH to come and rescue us and give us a second chance.

I'm still a bit of a scardy cat but I'm getting better as the weeks go by and happy to be patted and have play time with my carer.

I'm happy to run to my carer when called and come to dinner when called. I do love my dinner and it shows in my very round belly.

I do sit on my carers lap and like to knead and prod her as she rubs my head. I'm a curious little girl and will watch everything you do.

I've had my first & second vaccinations, microchipped and was desexed on 24th April with stitches due out on 5th May.

Jaspa was adopted on 05 May 2018 after 1 month in foster care

Naboo

Naboo

Domestic Short Hair - female

Naboo was found in the bushes when she was just about 1 week old. She cried and cried until someone took her and brought her into DCH care. She was only 175 grams when she was found! During the first visit the vet called her "a little fighter"!
She had a rough start but managed to grow up and become a nice sweet little tabby. Naboo will be ready for adoption in a few weeks but she is very popular and ready to meet potential adopters before she is ready to go. She will be happy as a single cat as she is very playful and affectionate, always the centre of attention! She's been hand-raised so she is very used to being handled.

Her adoption fee includes 1st vaccination, microchipping, deworming and flea treatment. Desexing is also included.

Naboo was adopted on 04 May 2018 after 3 weeks in foster care

Sophia

Sophia

DMH - female

Sophia is a shy, quiet girl who has just entered care. She has a beautiful, soft coat and gets on well with the other kittens in her foster home. She can be picked up and cuddled but is quite timid so she will need lots of handling as she gets used to her new owners.

Sophia would suit a quiet, calm household with no children. She is litter-trained, micro-chipped and she has received her 1st kitten vaccination. Her adoption fee includes her desexing at a DCH vet when she is old enough. Please contact her foster carer if you would like to meet this sweet little girl. She is in foster care near Penrith, NSW.

Sophia was adopted on 04 May 2018 after 2 weeks in foster care

Sirius

Sirius

DSH - male

Sirius was found in a park roaming around when he was only 8 weeks old. He is very active and loves to play, and despite being a feral cat he is very friendly and cuddly. He enjoys following everyone around and looking for cuddles and likes to sit and sleep in your lap. He is now 3 months old, and looking for a great family to give him cuddles and love. Sirius has been microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated. He is litter trained and is comfortable around other animals.

Sirius was adopted on 26 April 2018 after 4 weeks in foster care

Hercules

Hercules

Domestic Short Hair - male

Hercules was handed into a vet clinic after being found at an apartment block next to his dead mother. Hercules was very thin and dehydrated. He spent a few days at the vet on fluids and gained 200 grams in a few days.

He is a little cautious of the world and takes some time to form a bond and to trust you. But once the bond is created he purr and will give you direct eye contact and want attention.

He is a very attractive cat and will make for a great companion as he loves attention and belly rubs.

Carlos

Carlos

Domestic Short Hair - male

Carlos is a sweet, gentle little boy. He was born on a farm to a stray mum. A kind lady rescued Carlos and his brothers and brought them to foster care. Carlos has been frolicking and growing strong with his brothers and mum ever since. He is a little shy at first, but once you get to know him you'll find a gorgeous bundle of energy with lots of love to give.
He is used to children and other cats but has yet to meet a dog.

Carlos has had a vet health check, his first vaccination, microchipped and wormed.

Pearl

Pearl

domestic long hair - female

Pearl is just our favourite girl. She is beyond loving, both with us and her kittens, with now only one left after the rest have flown the nest! They all look to her for support, and she certainly gives it. She is always looking for a cuddle and a scratch, and loves a good brush, which makes her stunning coat just shine. Although she is young, she is not the playful type, and so would be suited to a home where they want a loving girl for all the cuddles in the world. In saying that, she isn't intimidated by anything much at all! So I can see her embracing children in a home as well. Pearl is litter trained, and hasn’t had any accidents, and is ready to find her forever home where someone wants a cat keen for a cuddle whenever you’re around. This young girl is a divine lush.
Pearl is desexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and fully wormed and ready for adoption.
If you are interested in adopting Pearl please contact Gemma on 0435939858 or Wesley on 0452101281

Pearl was adopted on 24 April 2018 after 4 months in foster care

Jax

Jax

English Staffy - male

"My name is Jax, I'm a friendly, obedient, and VERY affectionate. My owner died and I miss him a lot.

I'm 11 years old, but not much slower than when I was young! I am bouncy and LOVE walks even with my touch of arthritis.
The humans here love me but I'd love a home with a human of my own. (No cats though, I just can't stand them.)

Would you like to share my enthusiastic cuddles, happy walks, slobbery kisses and devoted attention? Those are my best talents!"

We have had him for a month or so and Jax is great with my teenagers and dogs. I would not recommend him with younger kids because if startled or touched on a sensitive spot he can growl (he is starting to lose a bit of peripheral vision). He is relatively well trained, he knows Sit, Lay Down, Back, On your bed. We have taught him a new skill, lying down before eating, and not eating until the command "OK!".

We are home a lot which is good, he needs a fair bit of company. Best suited to a home with another dog/s, and/or someone around the house a lot. We did not know his previous owner so not sure what his life was like before. He is still suffering a little anxiety from all the upheaval in his life but he is SUCH a loving and sweet dog, just a darling to have around, he deserves lots of walks and a great loving home.

If you can offer Jax the retirement home he deserves please contact us.
